Programmable linear camera

Aug. 1, 1994
The LAPP1500 programmable linear camera is used in noncontact inspection and measurement applications. The camera consists of four separately addressable rows of 512element photodiodes. These 20 ¥ 20µm elements reduce noise and produce homogeneous signal levels. Builtin SIMD processors work in parallel to increase processing speeds. The system can be connected to a 16 or 32bit PC.
