The MLX90621 infrared array delivers an expanded field of view at 30 × 120° to measure temperature profiles of both passenger and driver from a single position on the dashboard center-stack. It offers a programmable frame rate of 0.5 to 512 Hz, and is available in a TO-39 metal can package for a 16 × 4 pixel thermal array.
