Deadline approaching for 2016 Innovators Awards Program
Do you have a product, technology, or application related to machine vision or image processing that is deserving of worldwide recognition? In 2016, theVision Systems Design Innovators Awards program will once again distinguish and reward the most innovativeproducts and services in the vision and image processing industry.
Launched in 2015 at the Automate trade show in Chicago, the award program recognizes companies that demonstrate excellence in a product or technology, an application, or in research and development. In addition to systems integrators, manufacturers of industrial cameras, camera components, image sensors, machine vision lighting, and more, are encouraged to submit their product, service, or technology for review.
Our panel of expert judges will once again consist of systems integrators, consultants, and academics with years of experience in specifying, designing and configuring image processing and machine vision systems.
Submissions will be evaluated for:
- Originality
- Innovation
- Impact on designers, systems integrators, end users
- Fulfilling a need in the market that hasn’t been addressed
- Leveraging a novel technology
- Increasing productivity
Last year’s program, which saw multiple companies in the imaging and machine vision community recognized for their achievement, highlighted the innovation and advancements in the industry.
“Both the number and quality of the submissions in last year’s program were exceptional and I expect that this year will build on that,” said Alan Bergstein, Publisher of Vision Systems Design. “For a company to be recognized by a panel of experts in a competitive field of industry leaders is an affirmation of hard work and dedication, and is something to take great pride in. “We look forward to what everyone has to offer again for 2016.”
The results of this international awards program will be announced in conjunction with The Vision Show 2016, held in Boston, MA, USA in May.
