CMOSIS to showcase digital high-speed line scan sensor at SPIE Photonics West 2016
The Orion digital high-speed line scan sensor has a configurable photodiode size from 10 × 10 μm to 10 × 200 μm. Conversion capacitance can be configured over its SPI interface independently from the photodiode. The larger conversion capacitance results in a full well capacity of 300 ke- for high signal-to-noise ratio, while the smaller conversion yields a full well capacity of 30 ke- for very high sensitivity in high-speed scanning applications or detecting extremely low signal levels. Applications include spectroscopy and optical coherence tomography (OCT).
