The CONEX-PSD10GE position sensing detector covers wavelengths from 800 to 1700 nm using a 10 × 10 mm lateral effect sensor. The detector provides accurate x-y position and relative power information of infrared (IR) laser beams, and has utility in beam stabilization, laser tracking, and general beam diagnostics. It features a tetra-lateral effect diode that is highly linear over the full sensor size, and provides exact positional information as well as relative power of any spot. An analog input filter suppresses high frequency noise and undesired signal ringing when used with pulsed lasers.
