TrinamiX infrared sensors are directly wire-bondable to PCBs

Dec. 2, 2016
Hertzstueck lead sulfide infrared (IR) sensors can be directly wire-bonded to printed circuit boards as bare chips.

Hertzstück lead sulfide infrared (IR) sensors can be directly wire-bonded to printed circuit boards as bare chips. A thin-film encapsulation process allows automated placement and precise alignment in less space. The sensors have a spectral range up to 2.9 μm, and are available in 3 × 3, 6 × 6, and 10 × 10 mm sizes.
