The Lepton thermal imaging camera core uses a lens fabricated in wafer form, a microbolometer focal-plane array, and advanced thermal image processing on an ASIC. It is similar in size, weight, and power consumption to a CMOS cell phone camera module and integrates into smartphones, tablets, diagnostic tools, and other devices.
