Photron's fast imaging system can freeze fast motion without blur

Feb. 24, 2014
The Fastcam SA-Z imaging system operates at 21,000 frames/s at megapixel resolution.

The Fastcam SA-Z imaging system operates at 21,000 frames/s at megapixel resolution and >2 million frames/s at reduced resolution to capture previously unseen phenomenon, events, and high-speed processes. An enhanced global electronic shutter operates from a standard 1 ms down to 159 ns, and can freeze fast motion without blur.
