PRESS RELEASE

TECHSPEC® SWIR Longpass Filters

Block Visible Light and Increase Image Quality

Ideal for InGaAs Cameras in Machine Vision Applications

Barrington, N.J. - Edmund Optics® (EO), the premier provider of optical components, introduces new TECHSPEC® SWIR Longpass Filters. These versatile filters provide high transmission and deep rejection necessary to isolate narrow spectral regions for use in a wide range of applications.

Pass SWIR wavelengths and block visible light

TECHSPEC SWIR Longpass Filters are designed specifically to allow short-wave infrared (SWIR) wavelengths to pass through, while blocking all visible light. The filters are ideally suited for greatly increasing the image quality of InGaAs cameras in a variety of industrial machine vision, defense and solar cell inspection applications. TECHSPEC SWIR Longpass Filters are an excellent solution when used as extended cold mirrors, to eliminate damage or adverse effects as a result of heat build-up in a given system, saving customers money and time.

Available in 700 and 850 nm cut-on wavelength options

TECHSPEC SWIR Longpass Filters are available with either 700 nm or 850 nm cut-on (at 50% of peak transmission) wavelengths, in 12.5 mm, 25 mm and 50 mm diameters, as well as in a 50 x 50 mm size. TECHSPEC SWIR Longpass Filters are in-stock and available for immediate delivery for fast turnaround and excellent value.
