Teledyne DALSA x-ray detectors have utility in dental imaging systems

May 10, 2019
CMOS sensor technology is used in dental imaging systems, including cone beam computed tomography (CBCT).

CMOS sensor technology is used in dental imaging systems, including cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) as well as panoramic and cephalometric imaging. This medium-size detector, with a 99 µm pixel size, is designed specifically for x-ray applications. In 2-in-1 dental imaging systems, it allows 3D and full 15-cm-tall panoramic scans using a single detector.
