First Sensor to show avalanche photodiodes at LASER World of PHOTONICS 2017

June 5, 2017
The Series 9.5 avalanche photodiodes feature increased sensitivity in the near-infrared wavelength range up to 950 nm.

The Series 9.5 avalanche photodiodes feature increased sensitivity in the near-infrared (near-IR) wavelength range up to 950 nm. They provide quantum efficiency >80% in the 730–930 nm range, and have the option of equipping different bandpass filters. Applications include safety scanners, 3D mapping, environmental monitoring, high-resolution lidar systems for autonomous driving, high-speed photometry, and fiber-optic communication.
