The Vayu HD is an uncooled thermal camera with true HD (1920 × 1200 pixels), and is capable of 1080p output. Its longwave-infrared (LWIR) spectral response is 8 to 14 μm for security, military imaging, and wide-area surveillance. Its image resolution uses a microbolometer VOx sensor with a capacity of over 2.3 million pixels on a 12 μm pixel pitch in a standalone camera.
