Pyroelectric detector from Laser Components has uses in IR applications

July 26, 2017
The LD2100 series pyroelectric detector with differential outputs is based on the company's current mode detector.

The LD2100 series pyroelectric detector with differential outputs is based on the company's current mode detector. When used with a differential amplifier, the detector doubles the signal compared to a single-ended detector, with an improvement in signal-to-noise ratio of ~1.4. It is designed for NDIR and FTIR spectroscopy, IR laser measurement, and pyrometry.
