First Sensor to display silicon photomultiplier module at SPIE Photonics West 2018

Jan. 19, 2018
A development module integrates a stable voltage supply, signal amplification, interfaces, and silicon photomultiplier detector.

A development module for the company's silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs) that detect ultra-low light levels in the 350-900 nm wavelength range integrates a stable voltage supply, signal amplification, interfaces, and the SiPM detector. Included software allows optimization of the operating point of the detector to the respective application by the precise and individual setting and storage of the supply voltage. Applications include test runs and qualifications in high-energy physics, medical diagnostics, nuclear medicine, homeland security, and analytical instruments.
