ON Semiconductor to display image sensor at SPIE Photonics West 2018

Jan. 15, 2018
The 4 Mpixel KAE-04471 image sensor enables a single camera to capture continuously from sunlight to starlight.

The 4 Mpixel KAE-04471 image sensor combines the low-light sensitivity of EMCCD technology with the image uniformity and dynamic range available from Interline Transfer CCDs to enable a single camera to capture continuously from sunlight to starlight. With 7.4 µm pixels, the image sensor provides improved image quality under light-starved conditions, and is pin- and package-compatible with the company's 8 Mpixel KAE-08151 image sensor.
