Silicon avalanche photodiodes from Marktech Optoelectronics have frequency response to 1 GHz

Sept. 24, 2018
Silicon avalanche photodiodes (Si APDs) offer low-level light and short pulse detections from 400 to 1100 nm.

Silicon avalanche photodiodes (Si APDs) offer low-level light and short pulse detections from 400 to 1100 nm. Users may select a 230 or 500 μm active diameter and optical sensitivity optimizations for 800 or 905 nm peak response. Features include an internal gain mechanism, rise times down to 300 ps, and frequency response to 1 GHz.
