The Zero X Plus microscope accessory has an integrated calcium fluoride optic to improve spectral precision of collected Raman spectra.

The Zero X Plus microscope accessory has an integrated calcium fluoride (CaF2) optic to improve spectral precision of collected Raman spectra by generating a Raman reference calibration band at 321.0 cm-1, superimposed onto each collected Raman spectra. The patented “collimated laser with backscatter calibration technique” increases the sampling volume, enabling representative sampling of pharma tablets and chemometric modeling.
