    At the 2020 Lasers & Photonics Marketplace Seminar, keynote speaker Akira Hiruma, President and CEO of Hamamatsu Photonics, described that the role of balancing R&D with traditional manufacturing, and entrepreneurial thinking that widens the number of applications, is key for future photonics growth.
