As everyone is aware, The COVID-19 pandemic is a dynamic situation with continuous changes that affect how everyone operates. We want you all to know that OZ Optics is committed to ensuring the supply of goods while safeguarding the health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers worldwide.

First of all we have taken extensive measures to make sure our staff remain healthy and informed. Facemasks, gloves and hand sanitizers were made available to our employees as early as February. Staff temperatures are checked every morning, and any persons showing any symptoms of illness are being asked to stay home. All non-essential meetings are cancelled and business travel has been halted. Persons recently returning from outside the country are being asked to self-quarantine for two weeks. Persons who can work from home have been provided laptops and access via VPN to perform sales, marketing, and administrative tasks, including order processing. These actions are occurring in all three factory locations in Canada, Turkey and China. OZ Optics considers the health of its employees to be paramount.

Our next priority is to make sure that the supply of goods to our customers is not disrupted. As much as possible raw material stocks are maintained at levels to ensure at least three months supply of finished goods. We are asking suppliers to ship materials ahead of schedule where possible. We are also leveraging use of our multiple manufacturing locations so that as much as possible, another site can assume manufacturing if one site is impacted. Because of this we were able to ship materials without significant delays while operations in China were closed for a month.

As a result of recent orders issued by the Government of Ontario, businesses considered non-essential have been instructed to cease operations for at least two weeks. This has not affected our operations. OZ Optics is identified as a manufacturing business and thus considered essential. OZ Optics will continue to operate as normal. In the event that government rules change in either Canada, Turkey or China, OZ Optics will inform you as quickly as possible when these changes impact the supply chain. If applicable, you may provide a letter stating that OZ Optics provides essential components and equipment for your company supply chain and is critical to your continued operation.

Lets all do our share to overcome Covid-19.
