The T130 is designed for high pulse output drive capability and versatility. Unlike typical telecom class electro-optical driver modules, the full 7 volt peak amplitude swing is available, making it an ideal match for high Vpi electro-optical modulator type devices.
The T130 is edge-triggered, providing ultra low picosecond class jitter performance and adjustable delay with three width ranges spanning 250 picoseconds to 300 nanoseconds. A built-in bias supply, integral bias-tee and relay provides DC bias from -6 volts to +6 volts at the fast RF path for single port EOMs, or to a dedicated bias port for two port modulators. USB, RS-232, BIST (built in self test) and local trimpot control is standard. The T130 is an excellent method of controlling LiNbO3 / Mach-Zehnder 'slicers' and similar 50-ohm electrical to phase and amplitude optical devices.
