Polarization Entangled Photon Sources

Feb. 3, 2021
In addition to its novel EPS-1000 all-fiber broadband polarization entangled photon source, OZ Optics now produces a EPG-1000 line of crystal based polarization entangled photon sources.

OZ Optics Limited, a world leading supplier of fiber optic products for telecommunication, industrial and medical applications, is growing its quantum photonic product line. In addition to its novel EPS-1000 all-fiber broadband polarization entangled photon source, OZ Optics now produces a EPG-1000 line of crystal based polarization entangled photon sources. These crystal sources expand the range of OZ's capabilities to meet the diverse phase matching needs of today's quantum R&D market. With both source types, OZ can now produce high quality polarization entanglement throughout the NIR/SWIR band.

"These two types of sources diversify our quantum photonic capabilities and positions OZ Optics to become a global market leader in the quantum light source space," stated OZ Optics CEO Ömür Sezerman.

Polarization entangled photon sources have applications in the fields of quantum sensing, quantum communication, and quantum computing. For detailed specifications and additional information about these and other products, visit www.ozoptics.com.
