Industrial 50W Fiber-Based EVERESTnano™ GREEN Laser Now Available

Jan. 17, 2017

TUCSON, Ariz., Jan. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- AdValue Photonics, Inc. (Tucson, AZ) is proud to announce the release of their new 50W industrial EVERESTnano™ GREEN laser. The EVERESTnano™ GREEN laser operates at the wavelength of 515 nm and produces 100 µJ per pulse at a pulse repetition rate (PRR) of 500 kHz resulting in 50W average power. The pulse width is rated at 5 ns for the standard configuration. Other pulse durations are available upon request. The single mode output beam has a near diffraction limited quality of M2 < 1.2. The laser is based on an innovative, highly-reliable fiber-based architecture that leverages AdValue Photonics' strong expertise in the design and manufacture of specialty fibers.

The laser's high pulse energy combined with short pulse duration, high repetition rate and excellent beam quality makes it the ideal production tool for various precision, high-throughput materials processing applications found in today's microelectronics, glass processing and solar industries. Examples are drilling and cutting of glass, ceramics and flex circuits just to name a few.

This ground breaking new product is easy to integrate into production systems, thanks to its compact size, rugged OEM-style package and user friendly interface options. It has been manufactured, shipped and is currently available to the market. The laser represents a milestone in AdValue Photonics' strong commitment to the industrial materials processing market.

AdValue Photonics representatives will be at the BiOS and Photonics West 2017 exhibits in San Francisco, California, USA to discuss this and other products available. We will be at Booth #8636 for BiOS and Booth #6015 for Photonics West.
