OZ Optics has developed the Pearl and Ruby line of polarization entangled photon sources to support the growing field of quantum information science. Both Pearl and Ruby are room temperature, non-linear optics type sources.
OZ Optics has developed the Pearl and Ruby line of polarization entangled photon sources to support the growing field of quantum information science. Both Pearl and Ruby are room temperature, non-linear optics type sources. Pearl is based on a new technology called poled fiber, allowing for an all-in-fiber solution with excellent heralding capability. It produces broadband polarization entangled photons in the telecommunications band. Ruby employs the more traditional poled crystal approach and supports a broader wavelength base. Both can be customized for niche applications. For more information contact [email protected]
