Long focal length spectrometers from McPherson provide an optimized blend of light throughput and spectral resolution. Instruments range from 0.67 to 4 meter focal length and are staples of laboratory and experimental spectroscopy. Used in air the spectral range of these instruments extends from 185-nm to 78-µm. Most are available with optional hand polished master off-axis parabolic optics to best image small entrance images. McPherson SNAP IN gratings allow use of many different gratings!
