    The transverse beam profile shows a 0.24 mm diameter minimum round beam (left) and a 1.2 mm diameter maximum round beam (right) after a demo focus mode VariSpot. The incoming beam is from a non-collimated 2mW HeNe laser beam. False color indicates the local irradiance level: red = high irradiance, blue = low irradiance. Notice the almost Gaussian beam profiles.
