Handheld Optical Spectrometer

OZ Optics Limited, a world leading supplier of fiber optic products for existing and next-generation optical networks, now offers a line of handheld optical spectrometers. The spectrometers are bluetooth enabled and interface easily with computers or cell phones via custom designed apps, to allow one to analyze spectra from a variety of sources and quickly determine composition. Wavelengths ranging from 200nm to 1100nm can be studied, and both transmission and reflection spectra can be measured. Uses include biochemical analysis, quality control, and environmental monitoring.
