Optical Signal Noise Ratio Generator

Feb. 5, 2019
OZ Optics Limited, a world leading supplier of fiber optic products for existing and next-generation optical networks, presents an Optical Signal to Noise (OSNR) Generator. The units combines an adjustable ASE source, tunable filter and erbium doped fiber amplifier to perform OSNR measurements on optical networks, including DQPSK based networks. The instrument include GPIB and USB interfaces, to allow remote access and measurement automation. The system works at C-band wavelengths, and provided individual channel selection and testing over the tuning range.
