    FAS-3000 is a one-of-a-kind, automated, flexible fusion splicing workstation. FAS can be configured to suit a particular application using various “toolbox” modules for fiber stripping, cleaning, splicing, recoating, and proof testing, then reconfigured to accommodate changing production requirements. This fully integrated system allows high-volume manufacturing of fiber Bragg gratings, fused-fiber couplers, fiber lenses, and many others.
