Expanded Laser Machining

OpTek Systems has expanded laser machining capacity in the US and launched its processing facility, based in Chelmsford, MA. Purposely close to key BioMedical customers, research institutions and the Boston technology corridor. Andy Webb, General Manager, is leading their new facility – “We have some really special capabilities and people providing precision laser processing. Our micromachining is used by scientific customers around the world when they need manufacturing solutions that can both operate at scale and deliver accuracy to within a micron”.
