AdValue wraps Phase I facility expansion, CEO elected to World Academy of Ceramics

AdValue Photonics will continue to be manufacturing its fiber laser and fiber amplifier products in Tucson, AZ.

In a facility expansion plan that started in 2019, fiber laser maker AdValue Photonics (Tucson, AZ) has now completed its Phase I objectives. These included moving the company into a new location and largely increasing the spaces, structures, and equipment for offices, manufacturing assembly floors, test bays, and R&D Labs. Applications lab, cleanroom, and glass & fiber production will be the subject areas in the next phase of expansion starting in late 2020.

AdValue Photonics has been and will continue to be manufacturing its fiber laser and fiber amplifier products in its Tucson location. The new address is 2700 E. Bilby Road, Tucson, AZ 85706. 

In related news, the World Academy of Ceramics (WAC) elected Shibin Jiang, founder and CEO of AdValue Photonics, to the Professional Membership (Academician) under the Class “Industry & Innovation” for the 2020 calendar year. Jiang will be officially awarded the Academy Diploma during the Inaugural Session of the FORUM 2020 of the World Academy of Ceramics, to be held in Salsomaggiore Terme, Italy, on September 20-24, 2020. Stated by the academy, the “Professional Members of WAC (Academicians) are individuals who have made an international noteworthy contribution to the advancement of ceramics.” The academy’s total membership is limited to about 200 people worldwide; Jiang is one of the two individuals elected for the Class “Industry & Innovation” for the 2020 calendar year.
