Imaging components provider Basler to expand its facility

With the facility expansion, the imaging components maker confirms its proven track for growth even during the coronavirus pandemic.

Basler (Ahrensburg, Germany), which manufactures imaging components and systems, recently broke ground on its building expansion at its Ahrensburg headquarters. The extension will cover approximately 9500 square meters and provide additional office space for ~350 employees. The new building is planned to have six floors with direct access to the existing building, as well as a large bistro and multifunctional areas for employees and guests. 

With this expansion, the company confirms its proven track for growth even during the coronavirus pandemic, and sends a clear signal for the Ahrensburg site.

The new building is slated for completion in summer 2022.
