Expanding U.S. presence, Cailabs signs distribution agreement with Axiom Optics

March 9, 2021
Axiom Optics will distribute Cailabs’ Canunda, Tilba, and Proteus product ranges, offering local support for American and Canadian customers.

Cailabs (Rennes, France), which designs, manufactures, and sells photonic solutions to fully exploit the industrial potential of beam shaping, has signed a distribution contract for the United States with Axiom Optics (Boston, MA), which specializes in the analysis of laser beams and complex photonic systems. The agreement was effective on February 1, 2021.

Following the recent establishment of several partnerships in Asia, Cailabs is now focusing on expanding its presence in North America. Axiom Optics will distribute the Canunda, Tilba, and Proteus product ranges, offering effective, local support for American and Canadian customers. This partnership will enable Cailabs to provide a sales and consulting service for all its product ranges in these key markets (the Aroona range is already distributed in the United States).

Axiom Optics is positioned on the industrial laser market, the aerospace industry (where Tilba can ensure reliable laser communications), and the defense industry. The company also has access to major scientific laboratories where it will be able to market its Proteus spatial multiplexer.

The partnership with Axiom Optics should facilitate the development of relationships with key players and provide valuable support to enable the commercial development of Cailabs' product lines locally.
