OptiPro Systems names Rob Bechtold as Vice President

Most recently, Rob Bechtold has served as CTO in charge of engineering the company’s line of optical fabrication and metrology equipment as well as overseeing process development groups.
OptiPro Systems (Ontario, NY), which manufactures and distributes precision CNC machines and CAD/CAM software, has named Rob Bechtold as Vice President, effective April 6, 2021.

Bechtold has spent his entire professional career at OptiPro, where he began as a Build Technician of the companys CNC equipment. He eventually moved into the Mechanical Engineering department, where he worked for several years before becoming the Engineering Manager. Most recently, he has served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in charge of engineering the company’s line of optical fabrication and metrology equipment as well as overseeing process development groups. As Vice President, Bechtold will assist with running day-to-day operations and decision-making. He will also continue as CTO for the time being.
