CorActive to build $34 million production facility

April 26, 2021
The facility will help to quintuple the company’s fiber-optic products manufacturing capacity and create 30 high value-added jobs in 2023.

CorActive (Québec City, QC, Canada) and a team of financial partners are investing more than $34 million in the construction of a new 75,000-sq-ft. fiber-optic production facility to be located in the Québec City region. The facility will help to quintuple the company’s production capacity and create 30 high value-added jobs in 2023.

This new, modern building with advanced equipment will enable the company to increase its production of fiber-optic products and to boost output quality. The expansion also strengthens the company’s position with current customers and in other high potential markets, expected to grow amidst the imminent arrival of autonomous vehicles on roads.

Construction of the complex is expected to begin in summer 2021. Delivery of the new building, which will also become CorActives new head office, is expected in late 2022.
