TeraXion Raman scattering suppressor increases output power

July 31, 2020
The Power Spectrum Raman scattering suppressor is based on a fiber Bragg grating that attenuates stimulated Raman scattering by >20 dB over a wide bandwidth.

The Power Spectrum Raman scattering suppressor is based on a fiber Bragg grating that attenuates stimulated Raman scattering by >20 dB over a wide bandwidth. Integrated into a high-power, continuous-wave laser system, it decreases scattering and thus increases output power while improving immunity to back-reflections.
