Fiberoptic adhesive

Jan. 1, 1998
An impact-resistant fiberoptic adhesive is designed for use in optical connectors for terminating, potting, and sealing. TRA-BOND F118 is a high-viscosity nondripping material that can be cured overnight at room temperature in 1 h at 65°C or in 15 min at 90°C. The low-stress adhesive prevents pistoning and is available in dark blue, which makes polishing easier.
