Nd:YAG prototyper

Aug. 1, 1996
The 408 series of CW Nd:YAG lasers offers 750 W from a single-head system. The laser uses one flashlam¥per head, which yields higher efficiency than conventional dual lam¥designs, and can have either fixed or fiberoptic beam delivery. Multiple-laser-head systems are also available. Applications include rapid prototyping as well as metal cutting and welding.
