The 50-W Solarc metal-halide arc lam¥is available for use with large-diameter industrial fiberoptic bundles for use as an illuminator. The lam¥has a 1.2-mm arc ga¥and proprietary reflectors to focus the light into a fiber bundle. The small lam¥measures 62 mm long, with an 11.4 ¥ 5.1-cm ballast, and emits 3200 lumens with a color temperature of more than 5000 K and a median life of 4000 h.
