AT&T sells LED products business to CTS Corp.

CTS Corp. (Elkhart, IN) has purchased the lightemittingdiode optical data link (ODL) product business of AT&T Microelectronics (Berkeley Heights, NJ) for an undisclosed amount. The ODL products are typically used in localarea networks. AT&T spokesman Sam Gronner said that the ODL business no longer fits in with AT&T Microelectronics`s overall business strategy, and the sale will allow the company to focus on telecommunications and multimedia technologies.
