The FID-30R and FID-31R optical fiber identifiers detect light power presence in fibers using the TONE, TRAFFIC, and ONU functions.

The FID-30R and FID-31R optical fiber identifiers detect light power presence in fibers using the TONE, TRAFFIC, and ONU functions. The FID-30R includes an optical power meter. Both models include a trigger-operated clamp to macro-bend the fiber to leak light that is then detected by two photo sensors.
