HANA and IKE Micro align

HANA Microelectronics and IKE Micro announced a strategic alliance to provide electronics manufacturing services domestically and overseas to the optoelectronics and RF industries. HANA, with EMS facilities in China and Thailand, offers volume assembly of IC packages, fiber optic and RF modules. IKE Micro, with facilities in Nashua NH, targets prototype, quick-turn and short to mid-volume production opportunities. The companies will coordinate efforts to help customers transition from development to volume manufacturing. HANA with 2000 revenues of $182 million, was founded in 1978 and its stock is publicly traded on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. IKE Micro was founded in 1981 and is privately held.
