Mobius Photonics (Mountain View, CA), which develops and makes short-pulse IR, green, and UV fiber lasers, has moved its corporate headquarters to a larger facility in Mountain View. The move arises from the company's plans to boost production capabilities and enlarge its operation.

"The additional floor space we've gained in the new facility is intended to help our production operate more effectively and efficiently," said Derek Richard, the company's director of laser manufacturing.

The 10,000-square-foot facility houses the company's office and manufacturing space and includes a 3,200-square-foot cleanroom. Mobius Photonics will use the space to produce fiber lasers for applications ranging from semiconductor and microelectronics processing to scientific uses such as stimulated-emission-depletion (STED) microscopy.
