Arden Photonics automated fiber measuring system works with specialty and telecom fibers

Oct. 25, 2017
The FGC-GT is optimized for 125 μm fibers and the FGC-GS measures fibers up to 1 mm diameter.

The FGC-GT and FGC-GS high-speed automated measuring systems for endface geometries include core diameter, core non-circularity, cladding diameter, cladding non-circularity, and core-to-cladding concentricity. The FGC-GT is optimized for 125 μm fibers and the FGC-GS measures fibers up to 1 mm diameter. Designed for both specialty and telecom fibers, software also allows automatic measurement of multicore fibers.
