The OFDR-1000A polarization-analyzing optical frequency-domain reflectometer can analyze polarization evolution along an optical fiber.

The OFDR-1000A polarization-analyzing optical frequency-domain reflectometer (PA-OFDR) can analyze polarization evolution along an optical fiber. It obtains space-resolved reflection as well as birefringence/transversal stress information for optical paths consisting of optical fibers, micro-optical components, and waveguides independent of temperature.
