The SMARTSPLICER CO2 laser splicing and glass shaping system can fuse end caps up to 25 mm to fibers. It uses computer-assisted laser targeting technology to provide end cap-fiber ratios >50:1 to produce high-power laser delivery connectors and systems. A patented technology allows the fusion of large pieces of glass to fibers.
