The smart 41S single-fiber active-cladding alignment fusion splicer is designed for fiber-to-the-x (FTTX) applications. It connects to the company’s CT50 fiber cleaver via Bluetooth to redirect the cleaver’s position in case of a bad end shape. It includes a 5 in. color touchpanel display and v-groove illumination. It performs CORE loss estimation using warm image splicing technology.
