The HyVolution true confocal super-resolution microscopy add-on from Leica Microsystems (Mannheim, Germany) works with the company's TCS SP8 confocal microscope to resolve structures down to 140 nm with multiple colors, and with high imaging speed and signal-to-noise ratio. It combines the company's HyD hybrid detectors, a workflow-oriented software wizard, and Huygens deconvolution software embedded via a direct interface in the Leica Application Suite X (LAS X) control software and CUDA GPU-accelerated computing.
