The CX23 educational microscope from Olympus (Waltham, MA) is designed for medical students and in laboratory operations that take place in the field and in other nontraditional settings. Features include 13 lb. total weight, infinity-corrected optics, a color-corrected LED light source, and f/20 efficiency. A user-lockable frame prevents possibility of the objective and glass slide coming in contact, avoiding accidental specimen damage.
