Flame miniature spectrometers from Ocean Optics (Dunedin, FL) feature interchangeable slits, indicator LEDs, and device connectors for use in biotechnology, medical diagnostics, and other life science applications. It performs absorbance, transmission, reflectance, irradiance, and color measurements of DNA, RNA, proteins, or blood oxygenation in the lab, and can integrate into point-of-care devices. Fully configurable across the 190–1100 nm wavelength range, the spectrometers work with the company's range of light sources, optical fibers, sampling accessories, and software.
