The UI-3860LE CMOS camera from IDS Imaging Development Systems (Woburn, MA) features a Sony STARVIS IMX290 rolling shutter backside illumination (BSI) sensor to provide 2 Mpixel resolution (1936 × 1096, Full HD: ~120 frames/s). The camera targets applications with high demands on sensitivity, image quality, and speed, including medical imaging and low-light microscopy.
